4th and long and we go tight formation??!! We had to have a first down and should have gone with a 5 reciever set while the QB is in shotgun.....why a tight formation??!! I dont understand Sporano sometimes......is he the real deal or just another waste?

There is an easy answer for this. Number one, we need the extra blockers to buy some time because the Saints are sending everyone. And number two, our WR can't get open downfield. If you lined up with 5 wide, Henne would get crushed while no one was open. By going with the tight formation, it allows Henne a little time to try to gun one into one of our guys who is covered like a blanket.

You are right. But, it's better to have our QB getting protected with 2 guys in the pattern covered than it is to have our QB getting killed with 5 guys in the patten being covered. Whether we send out 2 or 5, it really doesn't matter. None of them will be open. Camarillo is probably our most dependable receiver. And he didn't start for his college team. His college coach told him to go to grad school or get a job rather than trying to make it as a pro. And he's our best guy.
