Well of coarse they are mad at Roth for getting a non-football injury and not being able to work with the team. But that being said, if Roth can preform up to his level, he will be active and play.
This is pro football. Sparano will play the best.

Maybe Roth is to embarrassed to discuss the injury. It really doesn't matter how. What matters is if he can play.

We have been doing well against the run. With roth we should be even better.

The article I read mentioned his ankle.

The boy should have been keeping himself in better shape.

Something is not right

Any truth to the rumor that his agent is putting him up to these antics?

According to Sparano, it is a small setback. He should be back in in a couple days. But not in time for the Saints.sad smiley

We are doing "WELL" against the run because nobody runs on us when they can pass all day long. Our secondary is so bad teams don't even try to run. They throw it up there hope for a pass interference or a big play given up by our secondary. Stats are misleading and this is one of those times!!

Roth coming back is huge!! The guy is an upgrade over Taylor and Porter!! If Roth is healthy he adds some attitude to our defense and maybe can bring some life to our defense

You can't compare Roth and Porter. They don't play the same position (SILB and WILB respectively). I wouldn't mind seeing Roth and Wake in at the same time, though!

I don't think we need him. I think we need to be looking for Safeties and corners. I don't think adding Roth will do much for us because he's not great in coverage.

Our corners are very good. Remember, we drafted CBs in the 1st AND 2nd round this past draft!!! Both Davis and Smith have played well when they're in the game, and Allen hasn't played poorly. Our biggest issues are at ILB and FS.

Another overachieving white boy juiced up and injured.

Roth was never as good on our team as the tapes I watched of his college play. Then when he finally gets better, and is productive for us, he gets injured twice. I thought he was just playing contract games with his agent, but after other teams see this, I don't see how his value is such that he has any more leverage.
