Omar is reporting that this will be Camarillo's last week as a starter unless he does something really special. His lack of speed and seperation is hurting this offense according to the coaching staff.
The WR they are benching is Camarillo. All of you Ginn haters can go nuts now!! lol lol
?? What does this have to do with Ginn? Camarillo obviously isn't fully recovered. I've been saying for a while that Bess should be starting in Cam's place. Hartline would be the replacement for Ginn.
1) If we bench Camarilllo, we aren't ALSO going to bench Ginn (and that is what all the fans are wanting). How many WR's do you think we have active each week??!????
2) Bess is having a LOT of success as a #3 WR in the slot, it makes ZERO sense to move him out of that role. Why weaken 2 areas on our already bad offense.

Bess could be very effective as a possession WR:
1. He's pretty much the same size as Mark Clayton and Wayne Chrebet. Both those guys were great as possession receivers.
2. He makes great catches and doesn't drop the ball.
3. He's pretty good at YAC.
If we bench Cam, who else do we have that can do what Bess can do?

1. Bess has more real-game experience than Hartline, so I'd be more comfortable with him opposite Ginn than Hartline at this point.
2. Hartline is a speedster. He may be more effective running fly patterns than catching over the middle. So, he's a more logical replacement for Ginn than Camarillo.
We are 0-3, "real game experience" means nothing. We are OUT of the playoff hunt and these next 13 weeks are glorified preseason games for us especially with a rookie QB who is getting his feet wet.
