Does anyone else but me want to bang their head against the wall when they see Drew Brees on the highlight replays. To think we had two chances to get Brees once in the draft(1st round took Jamar) and then in free agency(took culpepper). Now look at a him a pro Bowl QB we could have had.
uuggggggg this is a sorce of constant irriation for me! But I don't think he is the best in the leauge I think Brady is but Brees is up there for sure.
I will never admit that Brady is anything but an overrated, over fawned upon, effeminate low life who happened to play for a team that cheated it's way to championships, and who will forever be remembered by me as being the qb who went 18-1, and who will never reside in Perfectville with Bob, Mercury, Larry, Don and company. Glad to get that off my chest. I feel better.
Have you listend to Brady talk about his injury, lol it was like lmao it was pathetic, like he was the first to ever get injured, like oh my god it was horrible, i never thought that "I MISTER PERFECT WOULD GET INJURED." Got i dont like him.
We drafted Jamar Fletcher over Drew Brees. That's who I was referring to. :|

I was there either on this board or the miamidolphins.com old chat board screaming and crying days in advance to draft Drew Brees.
As I remember (and I could be wrong), we had not only passed on him in the first round, but could have gotten him with our early draft pick in the second round and we passed on him then also.
And, as I remember, it was not like we had a great quarterback at the time.
However, the years merge and my memory of that time is not precise but I remember thinking it was the dumbest move in Dolphin history at the time.

Brees was the 1st pick of the 2nd round so it wasn't possible to get him in the 2nd. Now I am curious. If he was the 1st pick of the 2nd round then did that make him a rookie or a 1st year player? Perhaps he was a rookie pick in his 1st year. I don't know. I am so confused over this thing.
Brady is a pathetic overated moron............do you guys remember defensive football back in the day?
brady won 3 SBs against teams that sacked him as many times as I can count on one hand...............
how did his punk butt do against a D that kicked him for 60 minutes in the SB........
imagine against the No-names that gave up only 7 defensive points in back to back SBs, or the 85 bears, 92 Doomsday, Steelcurtain, 49ers, 83 Raiders, LT and the 86 Giants................
Those teams DOMINATED and didn't just barely beat one year team wonders by 3 points everytime.........
Put gayboy brady under the pressure of those teams while the QBs could get hit and recievers had to earn getting open.

RESPONSE: You obviously missed my posts showing the two terms being used in Major League Baseball.
My question to you was if Rookie is the same as First Year Player why would the article say "First Year Players AND Rookies" instead of "First Year Players OR Rookies."
You've just been wrong all these years, Jonathan.
But ignorance is not the worst sin, so don't feel bad.
