Early reports are 7 DT's/NT's will go in the Top 20 of next years draft. It's a loaded draft for nose tackles/defensive tackles. Miami will do what they always do....draft 2 guys.
Take Vonte, then take Sean. Take Turner, then take Hartline. We will draft 2 DT/NT types and hope one hits and hopefully both hit.
I think we take a safety or two, and take a another tackle and guard. Prob take a nt, or two. And take a wr or two for competition. Hell pending on where we draft we might take a qb. Sam Bradfords stock should fall now that he is injured and out for at least 2 weeks.
I think that we are going to trade down our first round pick next year. The only glaring need would be a DT, and we could pick up prob a high second and 4th or 5th for our first round. That being said i do believe that we will have a solid year, and a low first round anyway.
the ONLY glaring need isn't DT. We have zero WR's with big play ability and our LB's are very very old. If Ronnie Brown leaves via Free Agency we would need a #1 every-down RB. And if Gabril Wilson plays like he did in the preseason, then we have a huge hole at SAFTEY!
So, I think we have more than 1 need next offseason
Mike seriously, OLD our Lbr's are old? I'm sorry, but if i respond to that, then i will be breaking my promise to Curt. Our wr's are a unkown entity yet, but with alot of upside, and Patrick Cobbs looks like he can do some damage. Brown, Ricky, Cobbs, Hilliard, will be here through 2010 barring injury. 2011 is when we take strides in draft with rb's.
LMAO. ohhh man i met Too TALL, at a convntion back in 99, and got to wear his superbowl ring, got it on tape, and thats where i got my Dan Marino Rookie card signed by dan the man! I told him to please win it all, and well, i was very dissapointed. Still was a great experiance, my mom talked for like 20 mins with Emmits smith's mom! My mom is a Dallas fan. That superbowl ring was MASSIVE!

I think that was more due to the fact that he'd been out of football for so long and his body wasn't used to the NFL season. Remember he missed most of the year the previous season and was out of football before that. I think we'll see a different Ricky this year. He looked very sharp, quick, and powerful in preseason. I, honestly, wouldn't be surprised to see him surpass Ronnie in rushing yards this year. He's always been the better back.
