Ernest caught a nice pass against Jvul and scored, but other than that he has been a serious underperformer for the Phins. I don't like to see talented personnel get cut, but sometimes it just works out best that way. The new kid from USC looked good on some plays against Carolina and Hartline from Ohio State always showed some "heart" in both catching and blocking. Camarillo is good and Ginn showed some flashes of brilliance against Jvul so I think we will be ok. Where is our tight end?
Resigned with Jacksonville today. Boy he made out like a fat rat! 6 million to basically be a practice squad player for a year.
I hope we learn a lesson on Wilford and Green. Forget about this chip on your shoulder stuff. Don't hand out big money for potential alone when it comes to the "talent" positions! Especially WR! Too many variables.
We waited until he finally made a play with that touchdown catch against Jacksonville to cut him? It just seems weird to me that we held on to him for so long with zero production and then the second he does anything worth noticing we get rid of him. Oh well, we only sharpened and refined our roster with this cut as well as the other 6 or so players who just departed.

My guess is that Sparanos timing had more to do with a crowded TE and WR roster than Wilford's performance.
Add in that he wants to possible carve out another wr and or TE soon, means he had made his cut decisins and Wilford was odd man out in both areas.
