As I said before, it gives us the option to play for a tie against the Jets and still win the division.

However, some think that if the Pats win, the Jets are eliminated and will be easier to beat. I can see that reasoning but I don't agree.

I think that not only will the Jets, who led the division throughout the season only to lose it on the last two weeks, be angry and we would be the only ones to take it out on,

but....they would be playing much looser with nothing to lose.....

as the case would be if the Pats lost wherein both teams would be tense and tight.

Moreover, their players, being looser and playing for next year's salaries, could afford to take more chances.

I don't think that a Pats win would necessarily be best for us.

I dont agree with your tie argument only because ties are so rear that ya boy donavan did not know the rules so I doubt that there will be a tie. But like you said imagine if you were leading a long race the entire time and suddenly one guy pulls in front of you and crosses the finish line, then a second guy gets in fron of you and crosses the finish line, now imagine that only the two 2 finishers go on since you are eliminated what is your motivation to continue running hard? If the pats win coupled with a us getting up on them early I do believe they will quit. If the pats lose then they play hard the entire game...

I hate the pats. I want them to lose. We need to take care of our bidness at 4pm. If the pats win we knock them and the jets out simultaneously. How sweet would the be??

2. The Pats have been playing very well lately
