I think they're counting on him to be just a playmaker, period-this offense could certainly use some, but he's undersized for wr and I like henne for this offense in the future. Kinda a head scratcher with some of the other wr's and defensive players on the board. Don't' like it.

hahaha....honestly though, I'm happy for him. I find it amusing. Let him have his moment. And honestly, I don't hate the pick. Who knows, maybe we just got a hell of a receiver/QB/Wildcat playmaker.

Hhmmm. The Patriots are picking what I thought the Dolphins would select. I am not real stoked about this draft so far. You are right about that 12 year old. Some of you guys are going to be eating crow. Maybe the 2nd in the 2nd for White, but I didn't expect it here. I was thinking Barwin or Sintim at that point.

I think the Pats traded up to beat us to Brace. But..can't change that.

Soliai is bigger than Brace...and has enough experience that bthis should be his breakout year. Brace gets taken...so what do you do?

Anyone one the board that slipped down? Yep...Pat White. Ok, does he help us? Yep. Anyone on he board that we rated higher? Nope. Done.

I'm wondering if thye pat white pick was not only for wild cat options, but perhaps more so to keep him from NE.

With him and welker & moss they could have run a heck of a wildcat themselves.

I suspect it was a preemptive strike, and that we would have missed him if we waited for our second pick, as NE had one between.

At 6'0, 197, he's not undersized for a WR.

the wildcat is here to stay and the kid is a winner. He brings a whole new dimension to this offense....wait and see

according to projections by nfldraftscout so far we've got a projected 28th pick for our 25 selection and a projected 62th pick for our 44th.

Sure hope they both turn out to be something more.

Other propjections had Vonte davis higher.

Interesting comments. Have you ever seen tape on him? Or even more importantly, seen him play? Perhaps you should recognize the talent level prior to posting grade-school comments.

That all depends how you look at it.

Davis was also touted as the best cover corner in the draft with the most upside that earlier, was projected to go in the top 15.

Last week and even this week, Sean Smith was projected to go in round 1.

Projections are only as good as those doing the projecting. I will defer to SIP over some cheese head from draftscout.

Pat White fits in with the Dolphins better than any other team in the league so his value is higher to us than anyone else.
