NFL is in talks with London, England to play a Super Bowl there in the next few years.

With them being 6 hours ahead of us, I have no idea how they pull it off. But $$$$$$$ talks!!!!

How about we send Goodell to London and leave the SB and the rest of the games here in the US?

Goodell wasn't the commish 10 years ago. And Goodell has came through on every promise he has made when it has came to expanding this game overseas. To think this won't happen........its just being naive and wishfull thinking.

When Goodell wants something......he makes it happen. Period. End of story

The NFL is like any other big business. They are looking for more revenue. They see an affluent country full of sports fans and they want a piece of the pie; but when they actually work through the roadblocks of a putting a team in England (1. geography and 2. lack of fan support) or playing a Super Bowl in England, logic should tell them that it won't work. Then again, logic and big business don't always go hand in hand.

BINGO!!!!!!! Logic and Big Busines doesn't work hand in hand. At the end of the day its about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

These regular season NFL games overseas sell out in like 5 minutes. Image how quick a Super Bowl with jacked up ticket prices would sell out?? Market it as the FIRST or as the ONLY Super Bowl to be played in England or overseas.......you could charge thousands of dollars for every ticket. Mark up the prices and make a mint in one day.

A regular team over there is tricky. But it can be done with creative scheduling. When the London team plays a road game have them play 2 road games in a row, so they stay in the states for 3 weeks at a time and play 2 games. When a team has to travel to London to play, follow that week with a BYE week. It's tough, but it can be worked out and done if you sit down and plan properly.

European football (soccer) has never held much of my interest, but I have had the opportunity to go to a few matches when business takes me over to London, and anyone else who has ever attended one can attest to the monumental atmosphere that accompanies the match. I have a feeling that this is the reason why the NFL has its heart set on giving them a Super Bowl, the only American sporting event that could rival or surpass the spectacle that is a European football match.

I get the feeling that Goodell is trying to tell Europe "look how exciting American football can be" by distracting them with smoke and mirrors.

how do you figure... easy!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

It's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Every other year you "lose" 1 home game. So its equal for every team. Every other year you lose one. Then in the years you lose you you get compensated with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

There are 15 cities easy. Hell you can get about 5 or 6 in Canada alone. Throw in Tokyo, Bejing, Mexico, Rome, Madrid, Berlin, London, Soule, Athenes,......pretty much any city that has hosted an Olympics has a stadium built capable for this.

And if you think that the NFL cares about what the american fans think your nuts. Its all about $$$$$$$$. If they are entertaining taking a SUPER BOWL over there you think they will bat an eyelash about moving some regular season games over there (LIKE THEY ALREADY HAVE!!!)

you know how much $$ a superbowl brings to an american city? I am telling you, the NFL will not play a superbowl overseas. This country will not allow it. There are people more powerful than Roger Godell.

The NFL is a business. Roger Goodell runs the business. When it comes to the NFL..........nobody is more powerful.

He moved regular season games over there, nobody has stopped him yet. He wants to move the game globally. He has started this process and phase II is about to begin.

Comparing moving 1 week of games in an NFL season to the new yankee stadium tickets (which is ONLY an issue because of a recession and in about 10 months will be a non-story) is insane!!!!

How is it hurting American fans?? You still get 8-9 home games for your team each year. It has no effect on American fans!!!
