look forget everyone else PAT WHITE FIRST then go after whoever doesnt matter realy untill we ge white if you think thats the wrong choice hey let me know but i know its not! wildcat would rule.
wow dude, are you serious... please tell me you are in highschool. A pat white will last all but 5 seconds on the field in the NFL because he is a toothpick b White would only be selected after the 4th round as an experiment .... PAT White is not an answer to any of the dolphins needs.
Pat White....please see Troy Smith/Brad Smith..but smaller....if he is lucky, he could be Antwan Randel El....1st round pick? I would crap myself...he is a low 2nd rounder at best at a reach for someone who wants a WR/KR.
Wildcat is not the future of this team. We have to be able to line up and run the ball when everyone knows we are running....Wildcat is a good change of pace but not what you want to build around. Just like anything else...coaches will find a way to negate it.

you think you know huh the wildcat is a great offensive look, true you need to run conventional plays to a t but pat white for wildcat plays is where it is at and im pretty sure the tuna feels the same way. the wing back FORMATION was one of the first used in the game of football back when it was real back when it took a athlete to do it all. why people dont use it much is because its hard to find a guy who can pull it off let alone a team but we have that team and i bet we will use it more.

why are we mourons? because i recognize how the team runs? the fact that since the wildcat is here to stay that bringing in either vick or white would make the wildcat just nasty do too the running and throwing capabilities of both qb's? and the fact that pennington wouldnt half to line up takeing up a playmakers spot on the line, which again would keep the ball in the PLAYMAKERS HANDS!!!! common sense you would go after what a lb first round fine not a horrile choice, then pat white and a center or just a o lineman in 2nd.

come on we become closer now kinda like soul mates in search of the teams 3rd superbowl. and i think its time fora new thread lol jumping back and forth is exhausting.
WOOF WOOF. Now that I think about it- the WILDCAT revolution is on in the NFL. Coaches are opening up to the idea of being less conventional. Pat White will have some value in this years draft.
I have been thinking about the possibilities of this lately. Especially now that people are getting upset with him for not working out at WR and with his stock falling a bit because off it.
Last year we left CP on the field and most of the times he was no threat to do anything except for the times there was a pitch back to him a he threw a pass. Most of the time he would just flank out wide and stand there.
The most difficult part of defending the wildcat was the unknown...pass or run. After we gave teams some tape of the WC, there was not a whole lot gained from the option of Ricky running vs Ronnie running and there was not a big threat of Ronnie throwing the ball. I think he did it once and then coach backed off fearing we no longer had the element of surprise.
Different scenarios for the Wildcat if we had Pat White.
1. Pat White plays the QB role that Ronnie Brown assumed last year. Ronnie assumes the Role that Ricky played last year. We bring in another WR to assume the role Chad played in last year and mix it up with having Pat alternate roles previously assumed by Ricky, Ronnie and Chad. He would be a threat to pass, rush or catch from any of these positions. Teams would be in disarray trying to figure out....
1 With PW in motion, is he going to run or pass?
2 With PW at QB is he going to hand off, run or pass?
3 With PW flanked outside, is he going to run a pass pattern or come back for the pitch back and pass...or run?
Another scenario would be to have Henne and White in the Wildcat and then the defenders would have to worry about which one of the two (or three with Ronnie) are going to throw the ball.
This could actually be huge. If he is available in the 3rd round, it may be interesting to take a shot at him. He is a very good passer, strong arm and runs a 4.5 40. As much as I hate to agree with "anonymous user" it could be exciting.
we could bring in pat white to pay ronnie's role, ronnie to play ricky's role, jake long to play pennington's role, and cam cameron to play the water boy's role. now we're cooking!
This mock draft has us pick white with our 2b pick. I think I would be excited if we drafted him at 2b. Reasons, I dont like how ronnie runs the wildcat, i get so mad when we need 5 yards and he get 4 and starts dancing round and dont get the first. JUST LOWER YOUR SHOULDER MAN!!! He cost us SO many first downs from dancing with the starts. I dont know if white can do better (he is not that big) but atleast he hits the gaps when a lane is their.
2) he can pull up and throw, and the offense he ran was a read offense where if the edge guy came he kept the ball and ran off of him if not he handed it off (this is the wild cat except ronnie does not read the defense, I think the coaches tells him which to do)
3) we need a #3 qb and he could fill better than beck,
4) he could run gimmick wr plays and maybe return kicks
