Where will JT land?

There is tons of speculation that the Pats are trying to sign him. With the Cassel trade completed, they now have the cap space to do so. They have always loved JT as a player, and if JT has anything against Parcells there is no better place for him to play. The plus for those of us rooting against such union is that the Pats play a 3-4, and JT is a 4-3 guy.

JT is a 4-3 guy? He won the defensive player of the year award playing in a 3-4

it was a hybrid 3-4 that they ran a lot of 4-3 in.

He played in a 4-3 most of his career. Most people feel he is best suited to be a DE in a 4-3.

I would eat my hat if he ended up there. Unless Belichek loses his head b/c Pioli left.

I am hearing he could go to Tampa and tutor Gaines Adams and play for Jim Bates.

I dont care where he goes. His mind isnt on football anymore. We are not the only franchise who has recognized that either.

That sounds a lot more realistic. It's still Florida, not too far from Miami, and it's for Jim Bates.

I wonder if Zach could end up in Tampa as well.

They have a pretty good MLB in Barret Ruud (178 tackles) so it is doubtful. They have anointed the defense as "Ruud's team".

Actually, I'd think Zach should be a backup now anyway. I'm not sure his body can handle a starter role anymore.

Someone will give him a 1 year contract, not for $8M though.
