Would this team be where it is this year if they hadn't acquired Pennington?
My opinion is that i don't think they would have gotten the offense to groove as well as they have this year without him and it seems that the whole team is rallying around the notion of a competitive and winning season....Pennington has given the offense some consistancy and given the team a reason to believe.
And what about Porter?....would this team and season be as effective as they have been been without him? This dude is a monster with monster plays.
Any opinions?
Maybe if JT stays here, he doesn't get hurt and plays lights out. I have a hard time believing that Porter is more talented than JT and would outperform him, even in a 3-4. What if we still had both?
What if we still had Welker and Chambers? How much more dangerous would we be then? This "what if" thing could go on forever.
What if, what if, what if... Bla bla bla.. We are 9-5 we have a serious playoff chance!! I am freaking Thrilled. My wife cant even get me to chill about this haha! I say we make it to the playoffs. I think everything we have done to this point has helped this team do what it is doing this year.. No what if's.... I love the dolphins!! GO PHINS!!!
I'm just saying that this team lucked-out when Pennington came here. If not for him, this team would be in the cellar.....probably below the lowly bills.
I have spoken.

I agree with you, I think Pennington was a godsend to us.. He's the man, he gives us a chance to win in the 4th quarter. What more can you really ask for in a qb? We should know, we haven't had one since Marino and Shula were together. Notice I didn't mention since Marino retired because JJ never used him. The QB is the ultimate leader on the field and everyone else feeds off that. As far as the players, he's the mvp of this team hands down, no question about it... We had a great defense for many years and we didn't accomplish anything because we had no QB.
