Since he is supposed to talk to Philbin either today or tomorrow, that may help decide what to do next. If Peyton isn't really interested in Miami, his class will allow him to tell Philbin straight out to just go ahead with whatever other plans Miami may have.

I agree Flynn for 27 million in first 2 years is scary, weak arm, and only 2 starts in what 4 years.... I dont think anyone is going to pay him that.... so I believe wherever he signs, he will sign for much less...

Not sure of your question, but here's what I know.

I am a Dolphins fan, always have been & always will be. I want people here that want to be here.

If I were Ross....a billionare. I would tell Manning to F#$% off. I dont bow down to no man.

We want people in this organization to want to be here. You have to have balls. Create an organization that is top notch, and viewed as such.

Not a franchise that is desperate, wanna-be, cowards who have no balls.

yeah I agree. we need to tell payton thx but no thx. If he can't even fake it enough to pretend to want to be here by coming to the facility (down the street from him for gosh sakes!! when he just flew to DEN and AZ!) and meeting with the owner, then I'd say we won't be sending philbin your way. WTF, is payton the pope, receiving vistors to pay their respects??
all this is going to do is cause us to be 1 day behind in FA, losing out on the 1st crack at flynn and who knows who else (we are not signing anyone till we get QB nailed down)

We are not going to be behind in free agency. Matt Flynn is not signing on the first day. If Miami is bidding on him, it drives up his price for Cleveland and Seattle. It's to his advantage to wait.

I blew it off before, but it looks a lot like the Miami media really had a bad impact on Peyton.

The guy wants pure footballl talk and circus sent him out to Denver and Arizona before Miami even got considered.

The helicopter chase and all the circus stuff I thought was no big deal for a guy with his profile, but I think now that I was wrong, and that it may indeed affect his decision in the long run.

I do think Miami has some positives, else he wouldn't have even had the meeting, but at one point I think he got chased away. Hope they cool it, not only for Manning but for others with an interes in coming south. Let's have some class please.

I was there , at the last game with the jets when Ross introduced Jason Taylor for his retirement speech. I moved down to the 10th row on the 40 Yd line becuase I wanted my Boy to see it.

I saw Rosses Face very clearly when the stadium eurupted into Boos as he took the Mic. The man wants it. He wants acceptance and our approval. I almost felt bad for him. Being a Billioniare does not cut it . The NFL is a tight knit Boys Club that he is on the outside looking in. The Red Carpet , night Club and J-Lo/buffet bullshit has to stop when your Team is 6-10. Maybe this is what manning is discussing.
