If nothing, I'd say the openess by the owner and Coaches about improved QB play is healthy and should light a fir4e under Moore. If he's got anything else to show we should see it.
I hear ya on the WCO, but I am not so sure Moore couldnt adjust, also if we get Manning will it really be a true WCO. Moore will be fine...
The biggest difference between Flynn and Moore, that should not be taken lightly is, Flynn won 2 games his entire career on teams that were winning...
Moore won alot of games for teams that were losing without him.... SO saying Flynn is this savior and Moore is worthless, just doesnt hold weight with me... FLynn has done nothing

I agree crowder.
Flynn is an unproven commodity. He MIGHT be better than MOore but he might be worse. He does have the advantage of knowing the system but any fan suggesting he's clearly a big upgrade over Moore isn't being honest with himself. He's just guessing.
There's really only one way to find out and that's to sign him and see what he does on he field.
Flynn is not an unproven player. Just because he's only had two NFL starts does not mean that he's untested. The thing with Flynn that most people are over looking, is that he's a winner. He's won at every level he's played at. He won a championship in college and he put up fantastic numbers in his two NFL starts. He's shown poise, mobility, accuraccy, ability, and he made clutch play after clutch play against Detroit. He's a rare player in the sense that he's overcome every obsticle placed in front of him and he's ALWAYS exceeded expectaions on the football field.
Is he the perfect QB, no. They all have flaws but he has always outplayed his.

The fact that he has only two starts in 4 years is the very definition of being unproven and untested as an NFL QB.
What he did in college or high school is meaningless at this point. Does it give you an indication of what he MIGHT be capable of? Perhaps.
But the gulf between that and being a proven NFL QB wider than the grand canyon.

RESPONDING ONLY TO THIS PART OF THE POST. You are dissatisfied that he "holds on to the ball too long."
Wasn't the criticism of Henne that he was too quick to throw it?

RE: Go back and read what I wrote...I said he was not untested...not that wasn't untested as an NFL quarterback. There is a slight but significant difference.

RE: Exactly, it does. Just the same as it does for RGIII and every other QB in the draft. But the difference is that he has learned in the NFL and he has been very sucessful given an opportunity...in the NFL.

RE: Again you are reading into what I wrote...not what I wrote.
Benjamin Volin ? @BenVolinPBP
RT @SI_PeterKing Rodgers on Matt Flynn: "The team that gets Matt is going to be very happy. They'll be getting a top-15 quarterback."
I'm not sure that's a real ringing endorsement by Rodgers, top 15?
