They just restructured big Ben's contract to be able to sign Wallace.

Pittsburgh is not going to let him go, no matter what. He completely changes their offense, he's that much of a difference maker. They can't afford to lose him, and they won't.

Clyde Gates has virtually the same still set, size and speed, just not the experience and he wouldn't cost us anything. He showed late in the season that he has the speed to stretch a defense and he has good hands. The Dolphins don't depend on him the same way the Steelers have depended on Wallace, so his stats aren't similar. With some experience and opportunity, he could blossom into a similar talent.

(if this post sounds a little mealy-mouthed, I see a lot of these hedge-your-bets kind of comments from all of you draftniks this time of year.)
