I think Coyle has a great reputation but large shoes to fill as well... He has developed some CB's in Cinci the last few years.. He is known as tough, good motivator from what I have read... SHerman has always had an offense known to put up yards and points... Philbin known as the game planner.... SOunds like a decent crew all things considered... I am just not sure Coyle will live up to what Nolans did with the defense in his couple years here...

I still think the position coaches are really important - and impact the players more on a day-to-day basis. But this DC will be more on an island than OC - because Philbin plans to spend 50% time with O and 25% with D and 25% with teams.

Let's hope we got a DC star on the rise and he's got a nice stash of YOUNG position coaches to bring in...

Ummm.....no, there was a long LOCK OUT.

A "hold out" occurs when players refuse to report.

A "lock out" occurs when owners refuse to let the players have access to team facilities.
