Reasons to Hire Philbin

He can bring some guys with him to install his system faster. The following guys are free agent some may cost but would be well worth it.

QB M. Flynn
RB R. Grant
TE J. Finley
C S. Wells ( move Pouncy to LG and then get a RT and the line is set)

We will then have our draft picks to get even better faster and beat up on the JETS and PATS next year.

Pouncey will not move. He is already one of the top 3 Centers in the league, already.

Moving Pouncey to Guard is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.

After losing a son, i'm not so sure Philbin will be willing to abandon his other 5 kids and work 16/18 hr days. Might be a bit to soon.

You might be right about being a bit to soon. However, leaving the area may help with the healing process. Moving south to a warmer climate and more for the family to do might be the answer.

He might want to make a contract with his family for a family day like Urban Meyers did with his family before taking the OSU job.

Just food for thought.

Interesting list of GB FA. I would not touch Grant. GB will resign Wells I am sure. In fact, I think they already extended him earlier this year. Finley and Flynn are the most interesting combo you listed. They both have potential but are question marks. Pretty risky

But a Climate change to Miami might be just the thing.........

I would much rather have Winston Moss from GB than Philbin. We would have the same GB connection but would get a better HC (from what I have read) and we get a HC without the question marks regarding the death of Philbin's son.

Yes, Winston is also a Caine and young in years.Born in'65.Christmas Eve none the less. Please no geriatric HC's here. Look at the Steelers DC. Certainly is and plays the part to perfection. Can't forget his face at the end of the 80 yards Bronco dash.
