I disagree that Matt Moore can't run, or would struggle in a west coast offense. I realize that he's not had much exposure to it but he certainly has enough accuraccy, arm strength, mobility, and touch. The timing routes would have to be worked on, but we run some of those right now. In fact a WCO might even help him because it's a safer system for a QB...
I want Philbin or Charmichael at this point...and Moss sounds promising too.
Just go ask a Panther fan what its like when you put too much credit in Matt Moore....you wind up 1-15, with the #1 pick (which wouldnt be too bad considering it will be Barkley next season).
I just read a few tweets from someone I'm assuming is in Fishers inner circle that's saying its nowhere close to a done deal, this guy claims they haven't even discussed contract terms with either team. Not sure I totally believe that, but why would they lie about that fact?

I say that because Jay GLazer said Fisher to St. LOuis is basically a done deal.
Im watching Charlie Casserly on CBS this very second and he said his money is on Fisher to St. Louis.

Just goofing A&O.
I hadn't seen it anywhere and your post read like it was past tense.
Wonder what that means. Does it mean he is leaving to go inform his family they will be moving to St. Louis? Or, does it mean he left with the intentions not to sign in St. Louis?
Puzzling, if he was signing an imminent deal tomorrow (with a press conf.), why would he bolt St. Louis today? And why in the hell would they put him on Southwest WITHOUT first class??????????????
i think it's simple. he's now got all the info he needs from each team and is flying west to meet with his family and talk over what to do. I bet we get a decision on monday.
I don't think the harbaugh comparison is fair. harbaugh wanted to stay on the west coast. if the phins were in CA and the niners in FL he'd have come to the phins.

What's to think about?
Cowher and Gruden BOTH said they want a QB they can win with right away.
Fisher isn't a dummy. He's looking for the same thing.
Go get a QB.
You put Stafford, or Bradford, or Newton, or Dalton or any of a handful of other young QB prospects on this team...or give us a top 2 pick in this draft...and coaches would be lining up to take less of Mr. Ross's money to coach this team.
I want someone who WANTS to coach this team, warts and all. so if that excludes fisher, so be it. Let's get a young hungry assistent. I am on board with Jay Gruden

If That is it and NOT Jeff Irlend, then the Dolphins need to green light giving whatever it takes to move up and garantee RGIII.
But they need to find out exactly what it is thats turning off coaches from what used to be the Primier destination in The NFL and they need to fix it pronto.

It's NOT Ireland. He'd have been fired in second if cowher or gruden said they'd take the job with full control.
All reports are that when we reached out to them they stop said no.
Ask yourself why that is?
If ross was willing to cut Ireland loose then he's not what's keeping you from getting a top hc.
Miami is Miami, it's not location
Ross is a new owner with deep pockets and a desire to win. Yes he messed up last year but he hasn't been here long enough or done enough to earn a reputation as a guy you DON'T want to work for.
