Some observations from the game
Posted by: ChambersDeepBall ()

1) Will Allen's pick in the endzone was a clean interception.
2) There was no holding to be seen on Ricky's TD run that got called back
3) Joey Porter has destroyed the single season sack record by a dolphin
4) JP Losman is one of the worst QB's I've seen this year. He is completely inaccurate
5) Devon Bess is better than Ted Ginn Jr.
6) Where did Charlie Anderson come from?
7) Pennington was 11 / 11 in the second half. When is the last time we had a QB perfect in completion perecentage in a half?
8) Buffaho sucks

I have one for ya...

Ted Ginn had alligator arms on a big third down play Sunday.

You are NEVER going to be a big time NFL receiver if you are afraid to get hit.

I have been supporting Ginn all season but after that chicken crap play, no more. He needs to concentrate on returns and leave the receiving game to the big boys with heart.

Trade this guy to the Cam and the Ravens for a second or third round pick in the off season so we can get a real reciever.

You got it right exept #5. Devon bess isn't better than ted ginn. Ted ginn gets doubled teamed all the time. He is our fastest receiver. Not many defenders can stay one on one with ted ginn.

I guess the first time around against buffalo he wasn't doubled and tripled teamed. And look at what happened.

The first time around he was covered by Terrence McGee who had a bad knee. He was healthy this time and shut Ginn down...not because he was doubled but becasue he was outplayed and scared to get hit.

Ted ginn gets the most attention from defenses. Thats why bess is so wide open. Thats why camarillo was so wide open all the times. Ronnie was widepen too on a play yesterday.. He was covered by a Defensive end.

I guess the other defenders were bussy covering ginn.

And ginn is not afraid to get hit. Ive seen some big hit on ginn and he still held on to the ball.

I disagree.

yeah...you're right. I've seen him take some big hits too but big time players step up in big games...and more than just one game a season.

Not quite. The record is 18 1/2 held by Jason Taylor and Bill Stanfill. He may still do it with three games left...he probably will...but he hasn't destroyed it...yet.

I think Ginn is going to be great, but he did get alligator arms. It would have been a tough catch, and tougher to hold onto, but he pulled back a little.

I've never seen anyone that never pulled up a time or two, He'll get past it.

Sorry if I just posted the same thing.

I still consider Stanfill the record holder since he did that in a 14 game season, and JT had 2 more games to work with.

Porter is at what, 16.5 which is good. It would have been better if he had showed up the past two game - particularly against NE when we needed him most

Observations....

1) No turnovers

2) Excellent game plan. Balanced attack w/ passing more on first down in the first half.

3) Lee Evans shutdown. On this day, Devon Bess was better than Lee Evans.

4) Good player rotation on both sides of the ball.

5) Defense is improving

6) Yeremiah Bell made a key stop in the open field to prevent first down conversion.

7) Vanilla Wildcat is a good setup for opening the outside for future games. We are forcing the defense to defend the inside lanes.

8) Our new fullback is a solid short yardage conversion machine. And he can catch.

9) Overall, our team is improving...which is a good sign for a December playoff run.

Polite is a heck of a fullback. He has proven he can be counted on for short yardage and 3rd down conversions.

Miami now leads the NFL in turnover ratio with +12.

We are ranked 2nd in 4th down percentage.

Porter is back in the number one spot for sacks with a half sack lead over Ware.

Frank Gore went out in the 3rd Q of their game. Does anyone know his status for SUN?

Do you plan on keeping the name "chambers" in you SN? I am just wondering. I mean, he has been a Charger for a while now.

I'm too lazy to change my handle.

TO- Gets Double Covered
CH- Gets Doule Covered
Randy Moss- Gets Doubled Covered
Tumor- Gets Doubled Covered

All get doubled covered and they still make plays and catch TD's am I wrong here or is TG the only WR to get Double Covered in this league. I am neither a fan of TG nor a hater but please don't say that he is soo good that the reason he is not catching balls is because he is doubled covered all the time. All the good receivers get doubled up.
