Seriously, just look at these similarities. Its' scary
Luck -vs- Leaf
1. Both play QB
2. Both have a last name that's 4 letters log
3. Both have a last name that starts with the letter "L" (for LOSER)
4. Both attend/attended colleges on the west coast
5. Both were finalists for the Heisman trophy their Junior years
6. Both are/were highly touted coming out of college
It's completely obvious. We MUST stay away from Luck. He's an obvious bust!!!

and i add.....the probalilities that luck is as demented and loony as leaf are as good a chrenb been right about all this.
You're absolutely right!!! I mean, why even PLAY football if there's a chance you'll lose. I'm going over to sit in the corner and curl up into the fetal position. That will make things better.
No. Thats not right. Henne doesnt suck. But, we realize, Henne is not the real deal either. He is no more than a really good backup QB in this league. He has all the traits of a backup, and none of a franchise QB.
I dont hate Chad Henne, matter of fact, I am pleasantly surprised at just how much better he is playing this year. But, when you cant get us 1 win, EVER, when the ball is in your hands, that tells me something. And Chad has never gotten us a win. He has had probably 10 games where he had the ball on the final drive and came up with nothing.

I can't believe I'm joining this conversations, but I don't think the Vikings will be our main competition. They still have Adrian Petersen, which means they're going to figure out some way to stumble in to a win.
Indy, on the other hand, is going to be tough. They're down to Painter at QB. He's a complete lost case. Our only chance is if Manning insists on coming back this year and pulling out a few meaningless wins at the end.
If we get the number 1 pick, and if another team thought Luck was the next Joe Montana / Dan Marino, and if they would give us their number one picks for the next 3 years, their number two picks for the next 3 years and several probowlers, I would say good bye to the number one pick and hello to building a team quickly.
