From what I've seen so far, Ireland has done a much better job getting talent into camp than the Jersey swindler ever did. Ireland seems to have flourished now that he's out from under Parcells' thumb.
An, to my surprise, the o-line looked very good tonight. Now, I know that is was the Carolina Panthers, but the entire line opened holes all night. They even managed to make Kory Sheets look good, and that, in my opinion, is a impressive feat. Even Lydon Murtha, for whom I have very little regard, made some good blocks. Now if he can avoid the penalties, he might be going in the right direction.
I was impressed with the guys most of you were impressed with, but I was particularly struck by the talents of Daniel Thomas. With his body type and running style, he reminds me of Chuck Muncie. Here's hoping.
I know it's too early to say anything definitive, but I was thinking the same thing.
I think a lot of it has to do with filling some glaring holes on our offense, but it looks like every player drafted (save Kearse) could contribute meaningfully this year. And Kearse apparently is impressive enough to worry abt whether he can get on the practice squad.

Put a pair of glasses on him and then maybe I can see that.
I remember Muncie coming to Miami to possibly play for us towards the end of his career. He didn't get signed because he failed his physical. It would have been cool to have him on the roster with Marino at QB.
