May 05, 1995: -- Mike Williams Signs with Jaguars --

ESPNet is reporting this morning that former Dolphins wide receiver Mike Williams has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars for an undisclosed amount.

Williams had agreed to terms with the Dolphins before he failed a physical exam. The Dolphins then waived all rights to Williams.

My Comments:

As I've said before, Williams and Larry Webster had a lot in common. Both show flashes of real talent and both almost cracked the starting lineup, but both failed to live up to expectations. I don't think he'll be missed.
