Just listened to the interview.  It seems pretty clear that Porter got pissed when they deactivated him for the Tampa game, and pretty much shut it down attitude-wise for the rest of the year.  Throw in that he's a guy who clearly has not come to terms with the fact that he is on the downside of his career, and it's a recipe for disaster.  Just have to cut ties with him---probably the sooner the better.  It's not like anyone is going to trade anything for him anyway.  Some part of me hates to give him what he wants, but it's best for the team.  Let him go be someone else's problem.  It's just a shame the Fins didn't trade him last off-season when he had some value.
