DOLPHINS: Photo shows Sharper fumbled

I am replying to my own post here but looking at the comments from Mike Periera, head of NFL officiating it dawned on me the it was probably that same ref who blew the call on Davon Bess' "completion" on the third play of the game where the replay camera failed. He was on that sideline and ruled Bess caught a pass that hit the ground. That makes this ref look pretty bad IMO. That call went in our favor but that's not the point. The entire Saints bench saw it hit the ground I am wondering why couldn't the referee?
