DOLPHINS: Favorite NY Jets win

I'm pretty sure I was at the 45-3 game sitting in the second to last row of
the upper deck in the Orange Bowl with my dad and little brother ... first
game I can remember going to!

I was too young for the Duhe on Richard Todd game - my favorite Jets
games would be the ones in 86 where we scored 45 points and lost in
that epic 1000 yard passing duel, then we unleashed Lorenzo Hampton in
the rematch and scored 45 points and won (the Jets only managed 3). Lo
Hampton had like 158 yards in that game. I HAD that game on tape but I
wore it out rewatching it. DVD-ROMs (and affordable video capture
cards) wouldn't be along until 15 years later!

other than the fake spike game and last year's alleged Favre burial
game, our Jets encounters have either been uneventful or painful to
me. The Monday night meltdown is one, but also the last game of the 91
season. We needed to beat them to get in the playoffs and could. not.
stop. them. on. D. Sure we had a bunch of injuries and had the "grey
beards" out there but still!
