DOLPHINS: Porter's Problems

Through half the season, Joey Porter has 12 tackles and 2½ sacks. (Wasn't that one game for Zach?) He has mostly been ineffective this season. It pretty much was the same story in his first season with the Dolphins. Last season, though, Porter was one of the best defensive players in the league.

What's the difference? Could it be Jason Taylor? The common factor between this season and two seasons ago was the presence of Jason Taylor, who's doing better this season but not spectacular (also mostly shut out yesterday).

What is it about JT's presence that minimizes Porter's effectiveness? Is it that he can't freelance? Or is it a factor at all?
