DOLPHINS: Satele traded

IMO, he was the best depth we had, the talk about a week ago was he was going to compete with Thomas for the RG job. Now, our depth looks as weak to me as it was last year. Our 3 inside OL are all either coming off injuries or have a history of not being durable, or both. IF, any of them goes down, we have Alleman, Ndukwe and Berger as the back G/C, and Garner and Frye as the backup OTs, though Ndukwe can slide outside too. None of that group makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, and I think we now need to draft two OL, one inside and one outside.

You think so? I'm kind of ahhh right now. I wanted SS to stay around because I thought he could be a good backup BUT I dont see him as a starter.

I think we got screwed in this deal. SS was worth more IMO as a reserve OL than this. Just getting their 4th straight across would seem marginal to me.

We basically traded him for a mid 4th rounder....

But we gave up our fourth-rounder to get theirs. So we’re not really getting a 4 th and 6 th for him. We’re getting a 6 th and a better 4 th – not quite the same thing.
