I was high on Housh initially....the more I think about it, though, the more I wonder if he's a good fit. I don't trust Bryant--maybe being out of football woke him up, but maybe making the league minimum (or close to it) woke him up and after he signs a big contract.... I'm not sure I'd want to be the team that takes that chance.

Washington is interesting. I hadn't noticed that he's a FA. I still think we need a #1, but he might just not be out there for us this year. Boldin would be ideal, but I don't see that happening---I'd give up one of the 2nds for him, but I don't see AZ doing that, and there's no chance I give up a 1 for him. We're just not in position for that at this point.> Date: Thu, 15 Jan 2009 10:53:18 -0500> From: cheesefrog at usa.net> To: dolphins-disc at phins.com> Subject: Re: DOLPHINS: Free Agent Pursuits> > Past Bryant and Houshmanzilla, I think Washington could be a nice pickup.> > I wouldn't touch Bryant Johnson.> > ------ Original Message ------> From: Marvin <dolphin9731 at comcast.net>> > > The WR I would like to us pursue would be Nate Washington. looking now at> whats available, pending late signing, in free agency, he is my favorite. > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: dolfandave at att.net > > To: "Miami Dolphins Discussion" <dolphins-disc at phins.com> > > Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2009 9:52:19 AM GMT -08:00 US/Canada Pacific > > Subject: Re: DOLPHINS: Free Agent Pursuits > > > > > > > > The Raiders have said they will franchise tag Asomugha. > > > > That is a good article but I don't agree that it's a great free agent pool.> The title says "Large free agent pool....".
