What is the status of guys like Davone Bess that were signed for one year contracts? Do they have the right to hit the open market or are they more like restricted free agents that we have 1st opportunity to sign? Same goes for Lousaka Polite? I would not want to lose either guy. Anybody know the rule??

Technically EVERY free agent is overpaid due to the fact that each team must contend w/ all other teams interested in their guys, the beauty of free agency for nfl players, I have done the same thing in the job market:). We will have to overpay to keep our guys and that is where we should start, esp Carey and Goodman, the two toughest position to fill amongst our guys.
