As far as a head coach who is lousy but inexplicably seems able to keep his job regardless for too long, I can't think of a better example than Herman

The best news all day, if true. Also, hopefully this will end any speculation that Carl Peterson may be headed for Sou Fla. That would be a real downer. It's amazing he was able to hold on to his job in KC for a long as he did.
