His legacy DID affect future teams - that's the biggest problem that
everyone forgets about him and it's why I hate him so much and hate
the Trashman for keeping him 2 years too long. IMO we lost our soul
under Wanny. We had a dolt in charge of the franchise and no football
brain to stem the bleeding. That attitude bled over into the Saban
hiring and the Cam Cameron hiring.

Dave Wannstedt is a symbol (and a genesis) of this franchise's
philosophical emptyness from 2000 to 2008
