so the opportunity for PPV has never been there? I just don't buy it.
I can understand Comcast's increased leverage allowing for tougher
negotiations in the next contract cycle, but I can't see the NFL
turning itself into boxing.

btw ESPN does PPV college sports packages and does broadband
distribution via ESPN360 of stuff they can't or won't put on their
channel. And ESPN Classic has been showing their library of old games
forever. But never a single piece NFL footage (at least not from NFL
Films).

i'm guessing they don't want to cannibalize their already successful
and profitable product by oversaturation.
