DOLPHINS: 4th and 1

*Yeah, don't confuse bad results with bad decisions.*
In my mind, the ultimate example of not going for 2 prematurely was the
Patriots-Panthers Super Bowl from a few years ago. If you look at the
scorring pattern of that game, the Panthers tried for 2 early, then were
forced to keep trying to go for 2's to catch up that lost point. It greatly
affected the strategy the rest of the game, in a negative way for the
Panthers.
Even yesterday, if the Dolphins had kicked and been down by 1, if the
Patriots scored a TD the game was still a potentially 1 score game.
If, if if ...
Murf
p.s. Likewise don't confuse good results with good decisions. If I
mortgage my house and go to Vegas and win I look brilliant, but that's not
what I would call a good decision.
