DOLPHINS: Draft recap

The draft spoke volumes to me regarding the direction this team wants to
go. Pat White
was a question mark until I started to think about it.

Clearly, as was stated here yesterday, the Dolphin brain trust isn't done
with the single
wing option; in fact it looks like they're going to get into it much
deeper. This is far
from done with if I read the tea leaves correctly. Either that, or they
really think the
White kid has tools.

The two corners reflect a solution to the secondary issues. Both guys are
big and should
give us better play against the tall WR with good hands like Randy Moss. As
I wrote
yesterday, better coverage in the secondary automatically makes your pass
rush better. To
put it another way, maybe the pass rush wasn't the problem....

I think we go fishing for OL/DL. We're one step closer gentlemen and any
ladies out
there.. I have a lot of confidence in the braintrust...

Michael

Ginn was a top 10 pick, though... 44 overall is still high, and I don't
disagree that it
was a reach at that point, but that's not as bad as top 10. I go back and
forth on the
White pick. I think it could be fun....I just don't that we can afford fun
right now.
An interior lineman or a LB would have made more sense---but I guess if
there weren't any
there we liked.....
