no doubt, but let's not overstate it.  it's a proven fact that the
backup qb always looks better when in relief than when he starts the
next game and the other team knows he's starting. the true test of a
QB what happens when the other team gets tape on him and can benefit
from seeing what kind of pressures and looks work most effectively and
what his tendencies are based on personnel and down/distance.
