Those New Orleans-loving announcers were horrible, and they never switched to the Dolphins crew. (Did they not attend?) The main announcer got so many things wrong about the Dolphins, including his contention that Will Allen was locked in a fierce battle with Michael Lehan for starting cornerback and that Chad Henne was "a former Cowboy."

so did anyone watch? I watched it this morning on the DVR (albeit not
closely) seems like they came out sluggish. Don't know if it was
because of the short week or if they started reading their own press
clippings and started getting a big head.
They made a comment I found interesting about the other "Flyin
Hawaiian" Paul Solai - the DT - saying that his conditioning was off
last year which is why he didn't make as much of an impact.
Conditioning. Amazing what one off season of conditioning can do to
some of the talent we've had hidden here. And with the guys we brought
in at LB (like Ayodele), I'm no longer concerned about our front 7.
Bess has looked awesome on punt returns - and honestly, I'd like to
see him there instead of Ginn. He has much more wiggle - which I think
you need more of on punt returns than kick returns. Parmele has looked
awesome too except for his fumbling problem. And Hagan has been
unimpressive as usual. I thought I'd heard reports that he was picking
it up in practice. There was an Ernest Wilford sigting though - I saw
him catch a pass.
Also speaking of the face mask rule, it appears that the offensive
stiffarm facemask will no longer be ignored. We got a 15 yarder called
Also for the Saints, Tyler Palko showed that he resisted at least some
of the instruction that he got from Dave Wannstedt - not all, though,
as he made a few pressure-influenced mistakes. But I didn't see if he
had an exasperated look on his face - damn camera angles.
