DOLPHINS: Shaun Ellis

I think they need to start policing the fans first.
I can't believe some of the assholes that attend sporting events. I mean,
it's a friggin' game! Some of these guys act like the players (and opposing
fans) boned their wife.
I'm going to the game this week, and I won't be wearing any Dolphin apparel,
and I'm even going to remove the Dolphins window sticker and my license
frame from my car.
Why? Because I've heard too many stories of opposing fans being harassed and
bullied and I don't need that shit. It's bad enough I'm gonna have to
contain my excitement any time the Fins score and if/when they win.
It really is a shame that I'm likely not going to be able to fully enjoy the
game, but that's the way it is when you combine neanderthals, alcohol, and a
sport.
Quite frankly, if it weren't for the fact that my cousin gave me these lower
level seats for free, and that I rarely get the chance to see a live game
(maybe once every 3 or 4 years at best...the last was Ravens/Packers on MNF
in Baltimore, so whenever that was...2005 maybe?), I'd just as soon stay
home and watch the game on my 52" Samsung HDTV. It's warmer, friendlier, and
the beer is better and cheaper.
I can only hope there is a decent Dolfan representation in my section.

Anyway, I don't condone what Ellis did, but I'm sure he was physically
provoked (even if the snowballs missed, it's still provocation if they were
aimed at him), and if that's the case, then he should be able to defend
himself.
