I don't think NE can beat Pitt or Tenn.  The matchup is just bad for them.  Cassel can't handle pressure and can't throw it deep at all, so if a team can get pressure on him and has good LBs who can cut off the underneath stuff, the Pats have trouble scoring.  And an offense with any speed can make their defense look really old.  Indy is a problem for NE, too, because I'm not sure they can outscore them....

I would be hard-pressed to make a guess right now.  Pittsburgh seems hot, but they've also been kind of lucky.  Indianapolis (like Miami) has been the beneficiary of an easy schedule.  New England makes me nervous.  They remind me a bit of the 2006 Colts, in that they came so close the year before and started off under the radar, but are getting hot at the right time.  I don't think Tennessee can win with their lack of WRs.  I can't see Miami or the Jets going very far.  Baltimore has no obvious weaknesses.  No way Denver makes it.  I might be tempted to pick Baltimore in the AFC.


In the NFC, I would have to go with Carolina.  They seem to be doing very well right now.
