DOLPHINS: SNF Conspiracy

can I just evangelize for a minute here? I've found new life in
watching football games (that I don't care too much about) on mute
while listening to something else (or watching something else in the
case of my 2 TV suite made possible by falling SDTV prices). For
example, I watched that interesting 60 Minutes piece about Saudi oil
while Tony Romo was infiltrating the Dallas offense.

This is now how I watch the NBC and ESPN games - and I am never
subjected to the inanity of Collinsworth, Kornholer, Berman,
Olbermann, Tiki, Jerome Bettis (is he still there?) or whoever else
wants to infect my TV. If the game is close late, then I'll turn up
the volume, but otherwise - whatever. That entire SNF program is an
abomination. It's like the 95 Dolphins - on paper it looks great! But
the execution is horrible, the coaching decisions questionable and
there's better chemistry on the Cowboys roster.

Besides, I think Costas and Olbermann are more baseball nerds than
football nerds.
