Billicheat usually defers because it allows him a chance at an extra possession, and allows him to play "situational football". A chance to set up a score at the end of the half, and then a chance to score again opening the 3rd qtr. He found that teams that produce this double score, win 90% of the time. Maybe that was Campbell's thinking.

Tannehill is what he is, a very limited, inconsistent performer, who is a back-up getting paid starter money. He may get a team to 8-8, 9-7, and if everything else goes perfect, maybe a first round playoff loss, and that's about it.

My point is that Campbell's decision flew in the face of what he stated his vision for the team's culture. It's more about establishing momentum than anything else. I felt the Pats D was easier to attack than the O, as far as making an initial statement. Going up 7-0, may have given the D the ability to play more "on their toes", and given a better effort.

Not quite sure if he's the primary one responsible for the Philbin firing, and promotion of Dan Campbell, but if he is, it was an excellent decision. How ever it turns out, it was the right move.

During Coyle's press conference after the Bills game, he stated the following(paraphrasing): "They came out throwing on their first 5 plays. We didn't expect that since they only threw the ball 19 times vs the Pats".........WHAT??!! They weren't prepared for pass plays??!! So much for strategic thinking!!! Talk about a guy that doesn't belong anywhere near an NFL defense!!!

It's going to be a dog-fight this year for us in the AFC East. After week 1, we look the weakest sorry to say.

There I was, all hyped up for a dominating Dolphins victory over the Skins...and then reality set in. By halftime, I was firing everyone in the organization! Thank you Washington for losing that game, because we certainly didn't win it. Thank you Gruden for kicking(missing) that long field goal on 4th and 1, when Morris was gashing our D for about 7 yds a carry, and had all the momentum on your

at New England at Philly at Buffalo Im hoping the team stays in the NE for most of this span. Flying back and forth seems like a huge waste of time and resources. Anyone have any idea how they'll handle that 3 game stretch?

I think that most of the "old school" contingent that strongly prefer the old logo, are being biased by the nostalgia that they associate with it. The Kiick/Csonka/Morris years, the Marino years, all have favorable memories tied to their versions of the logo. Unfortunately, the original logo was lame to begin with(que gasp). It looked like a special-ed dolphin, doing a little tr

I'd like to do a social experiment where we ask the next generation in 15 years, that have only known the new logo, which logo they prefer.

132. The Logo
No, I'm not talking about Jerry West. Now that we've been with our new logo and unis for the past couple years, and the initial shock of change has worn off somewhat, how is it sitting with everyone today? I'll start off by saying I love it. I was a little underwhelmed at first. But, as i see it more, and compare it with our older versions, I think it's a lot better, and I'm definitely mor

Here's what's happening. Stan Kronke(Rams' owner) has already purchased the Hollywood Park race track area in Inglewood, and is planning on building an 80,000 seat state-of-the-art stadium/venue there. Engineering and building plans are already completed and have been fast-tracked through the City of Inglewood for construction to start this December. Kronke sees the obvious cash cow that lay

Not real wild about the first 10 weeks of the season. Comes with 7 road games, and the bye week wedged between 2 of them. Really hate the home game in London BS.

I hate to say it guys, but our logo was doomed from the start. I was born in Miami, but was only 2 when the team was conceived. Had I been of a more coherent age, I would have been a bit disappointed with the original logo,,,a dolphin doing a jump, off-center of the sun, and wearing a special-ed helmet. I know I would have written a letter of protest had I only been 10 years older. But by

See what happened to your boy in Green Bay?! Settling for early FGs from inside the 5, will get you beat every time in big games!! Go ask Aaron Rodgers what he thinks. Please learn from McCarthy's and your mistakes from this year. You've got to grow a pair in a hurry if you think you'll ever get passed Billicheater anytime soon.

Why did we trade Vonte Davis? Because he came into camp a little out of shape? Ireland and Philbin really blew that decision! The guy's going to the friggin ProBowl this year! Good to know we have a coaching staff that can't develop and deal with talent. Who did we end up drafting with that 2nd rounder we got for him?

Yeah, the minute that call was made I thought Dallas was in real trouble. Picking up the flag changed the whole game. And there was no explanation on why. The refs have sucked for the most part all year.

I'd be surprised if he lasted to 14-15. We need a DOG MLB or NT. I'd also be cool with the best OL available. I could see taking a QB in round 4 maybe. Gotta restock the D. Need CBs badly too.
