here is the current draft order. good thing we are playing the pats and they have something to play for, so I can't see us screwing this up by winning. assuming we lose and SD, Dallas, SF, and Jax win, we could move up to #3 and the opportunity to draft an top impact player like, uh, Dion Jordan. Though I read we are actually currently number 6, so maybe we are ahead of Jax. Most likely only one

Campbell has done nothing to show he should be the HC of this team. Everyone who says just let him hire top assistants---what top assistant would want to join his staff? You need connections and the appearance of not being a short timer in the job to hire those guys and DC has neither. Just look at the crap staff Philbin stuck us with. There's not a single other team that would hire DC as a HC or

we need to lose these next 2 games end of story. it will be worth 10+ draft spots. So of course we will end up winning a snoozefest 15-14 vs the colts and their 3d string QB tomorrow. woo-hoo. at this point draft day is way more exciting and than any gameday left, so I am pulling for the more interesting and important draft day.

you make very good points, 5.0. but if they do get hurt, it matters only from the perspective that we need to replace them but are still on the hook from a salary cap perspective.

I'm aligning more and more with 808. Once my fantasy team got eliminated from the playoffs I didn't really even pay attention to football last weekend. Played with my kids instead of watching the 4pm embarrassment against SD and clearly missed nothing. I saw the only highlight (Ajayi TD run) online, which saved me 3.5 hours of irritation.

that's because the people running this team are idiots. for the cost of suh (a space eating DT for god sakes) we could have had 3-4 well-paid starters. but ross and co are always looking to "win" the offseason with a splashy move that makes no sense

meh, how critical are they anyway? we're not resting anyone who's not injured and I get the sense that even though pouncy and albert are hurt they're gonna try to trot them out there. I would like to see Logan Thomas take some snaps, as one of the posters on here mentioned, but it's not gonna happen either

well that "vicious pass rush" thing is the whole reason we paid Suh like he was a franchise QB. didn't really work out like that though....

can we knock brady around and still lose the game? I doubt NE even plays him the last meaningless game. get ready for a monster game from garrapolo. remember flutie's drop kick? that's how much they care about this last game of the year vs MIA when their 1 seed is locked up.

no way, I could care less if we beat the pats in a meaningless game. it wouldn't affect them in the slightest and it could drop us 10 spots in the draft.

we need to hit rock bottom. otherwise the idiot ross will see 7-9 and think "we're close." we must finally blow up this team and everyone associated with it. closing with 2 more losses will help.

dwight stevenson tried it here too i think, but also wasn't cut out for it.

that sucks. now there is a chance we win and drop 10 spots in the draft pick rankings and have the idiot Ross think "we're close, just a few tweaks...." we need to ride this season straight down the toilet. like when the canes lost 58-0 to clemson, that was the only way to get Golden out of there. It's going to take something similar here...

Dump everyone including coaches and tannenbaum and stArt over. I'd prefer 3-5 win seasons over the next few years with hope for the future over what we've got now and have had for a decade. Team is a laughingstock

What has Marino ever shown to indicate he could run this team or even wants to? He's worked for team this year in some capacity or other and I never heard one peep from him or about him. He was given the gm role once before and quit after a month because it was too much work. We need to move off thAt pipe dream that bc he was a great player he can somehow be a great gm

this is worse than the cam cameron bunch. that team at least was a clean slate after the 1-15 year. we are in cap purgatory next few years and old at a lot of positions. plus the cam team was a total wipe out that off season but that idiot ross has saddled us with tannenbaum so there will be no improvement

first time in forever I did not watch the game though I did check in online now and then. so pathetic, but great loss. should be in line for a top 5 or at least 10 pick now. beating sD would have really hurt that so the day is a success

if his name was Mike Johnson no one would want him. If we hire him it would be a typical Ross move of form over substance. His brother Dave failed as a HC in NFL and Mike failed as a HC at Alabama, and the minute he left and Saban came in he turned it into a powerhouse. Obviously "genes" have nothing to do with it. Cam Newton is playing great but it's not become Shula is some QB gur

what about kyle orton matt flynn trent green aj feely and all the other trash we wanted to bring in here b/c we are so desperate for a QB we are delusional no thanks the only way we improve at QB in a way that matters if by some miracle RT takes 3 leaps forward or we stumble into a stud in the draft
