these people who are pining for Dan Campbell to be made head coach are insane. The guy did nothing to turn around the team. He has no schematic expertise. He has no experience above the position coach level (and only a few years of that) except for the games he coached for us this year where he proved to be in way over his head. And his only exposure to NFL coaching is from the same losers beginn

brady threw like 3 passes in the first half. they barely threw to gronk. when they've tried against us, brady throws for 400+ yards and runs up the score. Yes we won, but to try to call this a great or meaningful win, or that we are not too far off from the pats, is delusional. and to try use this game as a basis for making decisions about the future of this team, is beyond short-sighted . the pa

I live in DC and Shannehan and his kid as OC was a disaster. Both were pretty hated by the time they were run out of town.

have you people been watching the same team? in practically every category there's been no improvement and even regression under Campbell. we came into this season expecting playoffs and wanting to run philben out of town for even an 8 or 9 win season if we didn't make the playoffs, and now we are praising cambpell for winning like 3-4 games? I see stupid undisciplined penalties all over the pla

This far ? You mean win one game against a pats team more concerned with not getting Brady hurt than actually trying to win? That's juT the kind of thinking I am worried Ross will subscribe to and that's why this win today is so dangerous. It's the kind if thinking tgT caused him to extend philben after that meaningless win against the Vikings last year

97. next HC
OK enough bashing. Who do we think we should hire as next HC? I agree with the view that it needs to be someone who's done it before and not another first time coordinator, which would eliminate someone like Gase. I actually think I'd prefer someone like Pagano who did a decent job with the colts and actually came from a more disfunctional FO than we've got here. He seems like the "leader&

You've got reason to worry. Let's see. Tannenbaum leading search. Fire gm and promote from within without any search. Ie tannenbaum hiring a puppet. Now Ross saying how great the team is and he loves Campbell after this meaningless in where pats barely tried. We can all see what's coming.

Pats didn't even try. Running Steven Jackson the first 80% of plays? Gimme a break. They thought they could win like that and weren't far off

We'd have been better off losing. In addition to draft position now Ross will think "we're close" and make minimal changes to this toxic roster and bring back Campbell. I'm serious this win set us back another 5 years. Having seen every game since 85 but especially since Marino retired I can predict the future.

While it was going on. Says a lot about what this team has done to the fan base. Very telling

of course i love marino for what he did for us as a player (he's the reason I became a huge fan as a boy) but there's nothing in his background that suggests he can run a team or make personnel decisions and he's proven that he has no interest in doing the work the job requires anyway. I was hoping he could at least convince ross of the obvious like you can't keep keeping around FO while dumping

tannenbaum has zero credentials to be making personnel decisions (he's a freaking cap guy) and gave sanchez the worlds dumbest contract extension and left the jets a dumpster fire they are only now beginning to climb out of. but yes I am thrilled he has total control now of the phins ???

yes but we are about to make the same mistake we've been making since ross took over. keep tannenbaum and get rid of coach and GM. why is it so hard for that moron ross to just flush everyone and START OVER!!!

"process led by Mike Tannenbaum" may as just well ball up the letter at that point and write off another 3-5 years before we start this crap all over again

4000 yards in this day and age is no big deal. Everyone does it. And Treasure, Marino played with a lot of sorry teams and propped them up. I would say Brady as well. Look at the talent the Pats have on offense this year and recent years, it's probably not even as good as what we've got except for Gronk. A great QB raises the level of the players around him. His OL is made up of undrafted gu

I'd prefer him or really anyone to trading a high pick for Sean Payton. Honestly I really think we will end up giving an unprecedented top 10 first round pick for Payton, who has a losing record and ran the Saints into the ground with his personnel decisions (and he will want personnel control here). This would be the most Dolphins move ever, so watch it happen.

but crowder, Bellichek said he made the call on purpose (and the player said he double checked with the coach before making the call). It is not like Bellicheck to take the fall for his player and not throw him under the bus, so I think it wasn't a screw up by the player but deliberate (though puzzling) call

we likely were not gonna keep him around at that salary anyone, and no other team would pay him that, although there was a slight change we would have done it out of sheer desperation. now there is no shot of that. while grimes' wife is a major POS I don't think given his age and production he'd have signed for big $$ anywhere else anyway, so I am not sure how much she hurt his stock b/c at best

what is so depressing about this team is we can all see the mistakes coming. we all knew it was a mistake to boot sporano and keep ireland to find a new coach. then keep philbin and dump ireland. now dump philbin and keep tannenbaum to find the new coach. tannebaum is horrible and we not going to find a coach worth a damn if we keep him. nevertheless ross is going to do it, despite the obvious e

I think this is part of a ploy by her to get the team to release him. It's probably going to work too.

we couldn't get more than a 4th rounder for RT at this point. No way do we trade him. Give him another year as starter (basically we have no choice) and draft a guy. Best case scenario one of the 2 comes through and we have a tradable asset. Right now RT is not a tradeable asset.
