Doesn't really mean much year in and year out. Teams change so much in one off season. Dallas for example will likely go from 4 wins to 10. Same with Baltimore, Indy, ATL, NYG. Denver could go the complete opposite with no QB and losing a starting ILB and DE. I'm more concerned about 3 west coast trips and the AFC East where we only won ONE game. That's 9 games out of the season. Another re

Jordan Phillips, after only 4 starts, is of the same caliber of Darrell Revis. We should draft a QB at 13 who has 2300 career yards and 15 td's. Ok...whatever you say.

Our only hope is that MikeyT can duplicate some of the success he had in NY in the draft. He was bad overall but did land some stud players.... Darrell Revis Muhammad Wilkerson D'Brickashaw Ferguson Nick Mangold and some good players... Dustin Keller Matt Slauson David Harris Leon Washington Miami hasn't drafted a player of Revis' Caliber or even Wilkerson for a long long time.

The Jets asked D'brick Ferguson to take a pay cut this year. He hasn't missed a snap in his entire career nor appeared on an injury report. That's amazing. He responded by retiring! LOL I guess they will be able to give Fitzpatrick more money now but at the same time, he just became less effective. They will likely have to spend a first round pick on a guy like Taylor Decker if he is available

40 would have tied Ezekial Elliott at the combine vertical was 1/2" short of ALL TIME record bench would have set a NEW record for RB's He has ZERO wear and tear. I'd give a 6th rounder for him.

That's true but I still wouldn't pull an Al Davis and draft a guy at 13 that I might get at 42 or with a trade up in the 2nd round for a 5th round draft pick. Is he Eddie George or Brandon Jacobs? If he's Eddie then yes. Jacobs, not so much. Even Eddie didn't have the workload that DH had last year in Bama. How much tread are left on those tires after 395 carries last year? Every look at

Phillips did play last year. He started 4 games and had 430 snaps compared to Mitchell's 501....but the reason it wasn't earlier is because he struggled in the run defense and could not shed blocks. The good news is that he was just as good as Earl Mitchell when he subbed for him due to injury. Being a rookie compared to a 6th year player is pretty good I guess but it was Earl Mitchell after all.

True. Mike T and his ego believe in Earl but they also believe Phillips will take the next step. As atrocious as we were vs the run last year, I think it's too big of a risk. Especially with questions about our new pass rush as well as lack of corners. They should have at least replaced Mitchell while they let JP grow. Failure to put a decent DT next to Suh is just wasting his prime years and

Most of what you are saying makes total sense. I was looking at it from the front office's POV. Judging by what they have done in the off season. It's not like they are known for doing what's most logical. Just like I think THEY believe they are set on the o-line by the signing of a mid tier guard and an injured, aging LT who they are projecting to guard. I doubt they take an o-lineman in the
