I heard a report from ESPN's John Clayton this AM that the Saints and Drew Brees are only about $1M apart and the negotiations have slowed down.
$1M? Give me a break! As much as I hate the amount of $'s being thrown around in sports and entertainment, it is what it is. Come on Drew -- how much is enough? On the other hand, what's up with the Saints? Your best player and the guy you need on

Clemens on trial because he "lied" to Congress? Talk about calling the kettle black!
Congress is the one organization that should keep their noses in politics and try to do the right thing, although they have failed at that for so many years it's hard to keep up with them.
Suggestion for these bozos -- try to get the debt in order before worrying about whether or not someone to

Ireland has "hinted" that he may not be done getting WRs. Burress and Driver have been mentioned. My choice?
I would go with Driver. First, he is familiar with Philbin's way of doing things and second: although I don't watch "Dancing With the Stars," pieces are shown on NFLN when it concerns a football player. For his age, Driver is in perfect physical health and can s

That story is true, but that was already talked about/published before Casserly said anything.

I don't know how anyone can say Ireland was "the guy" while Parcells was in Miami. Parcells made all the decisions. Case in point: Ireland didn't want Pat White, Miami drafted him in the 2nd round. Who's call do you think that was?
Also, you will never hear Ireland saying that he wasn't making the decisions (while Parcells was around). He is above that.
Ireland should be judg

He is supposedly getting cut. They can't trade him because of his present contract ($3.3M).
He supposedly can barely practice, anymore.
I don't think he would be worth the trouble (and money).

Everyone has their opinion, but I hope you guys noticed that I didn't annoint Warfield "greatest ever." I won't do that with any position.
I don't know how you guys can do that. Like I said in my post, different era, different rules, etc. Think about it; Rice had free-run of the field, whereas Warfield had a DB's hands all over him all the way down the field, and they still couldn

Over the last few years, all I have heard is jerry Rice is the greatest WR EVER! I will admit he is a great WR, but greatest ever?
I guess if one goes by stats, yeah, he is the greatest of all time.
It is the same old argument as the greatest QB ever. It is different eras and different rules. How can anyone be judged best ever?
I love Danny Boy, but is he the greatest ever? I don't p

To be honest, I am not expecting RT to be another Marino. If he turns out to be another Griese (with a better arm) then I will br satisified.
It's odd that Dan would say the things he said (if true). With Ross, he is still learning and he has the money. He just has to stop putting his foot in his mouth and let his football guys handle that side of the operation, with Ross putting his 2 ce

I am giving this Miami draft a C only because we didn't get the top name guys (although Martin was rated pretty high) and Miller, who was rated as a 2nd rounder.
This draft will come down to Tanney. If he becomes Miami's starting QB and stays there and leads Miami to the post season, then the grade can come up. From round 5 thru 7, I can't say because I don't know those players. Based on
