On Miami's first defensive series, I would have sworn our DBs missed the bus and didn't get there until the second defensive series. Also, I am (somewhat) taking back what I said earlier about Tua (Thoughts). I never questioned his football IQ, but I still believe he does not have a cannon for an arm, however, he does well enough to win games. Again, my real concern about Tua is his ability t

126. Thoughts
1. Tua may or may not be a go for Thursday. 2. I am now changing my mind about Tua. I had been saying that let him finish out the season, then we will know if he is the guy or not. He is not the guy! Too many injuries. He is sidelined more than he is on the field. Trade time. 3. Devante Parker. Hell of a football player, but he is on the sidelines more than Tua. Time for a trade. 4. $1

I still say Tua played well enough to win. Sure, those 2 ints hurt, but it didn't put the kibosh on the team. I say again, the D lost this game. Tua's mistakes will get worked out the more he plays. He will figure it out. Each game he gets better. It's a shame he has to get compared to Herbert. H is a big QB (height and weight) and has a canon for an arm. Tua is undersized, not a canon arm (bu

As I have stated before, it's a NO on Watson. Tua is playing well. The fins have a lot of holes to fill, both offense and defense. The "rumors" have it that to get Watson, it would take 3 first rounders, two second rounders, and he would be coming with a sky high salary. How in the hell is Miami supposed to upgrade the team when they traded away 5 picks in the high rounds, for ONE GU

Tua has played well these last two games. Some folks are already writing him off; I disagree with that assessment. Is he the next Marino? No, but he isn't at the bottom of the totem pole, either. Geez, the guy threw for 300+ yards last week, then 296 yards and 4 TDs this week. True, he threw 4 ints during this time, but just remember this - Peyton Manning's first year he threw over 20 ints. N

IMO, part of the OL problem(s) is that there is no continuity on the line. I understand Grier wanting to get these guys familiar with all the line positions, but settle on one line, and keep it there. Stop having one guy play LT, then the next week move him to RG. This line will never grow to be solid.

I (sorta) agree concerning Brissett. He is definitely not starter material, however....whomever the OC is who is calling the plays, needs to open this up. True, Brissett didn't do much in the first three quarters, but once the OC opened up, THEN Miami started moving. How about our OCs just start the game and finish the game with explosive plays? Going downfield will open up the running game. I tr

I like the idea of JJ coming to the rescue as the new GM, however, as I believe it was Treasure who said, he has a cushy job right now. However, we have seen a lot of shakeups in the NFL shows where people are there for a time, then all of a sudden youth movement is required (when I say youth movement, it is the players/coaches who have retired). Maybe if he is offered the job with a good salary,

I was not impressed. Offense was just average; defense, supposedly the strength of this team, was poor, although they came thru in the clutch. Our pass defense, if you want to call it that....hell, I could have been QBing NE and hit on those throws. It was rare to see anyone close to the receiver; they had free reign on the Fins. Run defense? Uh, not much. Again, its good they were able to get

Miami, all along, believed in Tua...."Tank for Tua." There was talk of Miami moving up in the draft to make sure they got Tua. Didn't have to...he fell into their lap. The Miami brass knew what they were getting in Tua....Bad injury that hadn't yet healed; doesn't have a cannon arm, but was very accurate at Alabama, and a very smart player. Didn't have an off season with his teammat

I would not go for Watson. He is a good QB, true, but so good that Miami would have to give up 3 #1s, whatever else the Texans ask for, and also pay the guy $10M plus? OK, say this deal goes thru....Watson gets convicted. He's gone. Very stupid to take on someone who has issues. I would not do it.

Tua not only had to go against the weather, but Flores wanted him to "let it loose" so Tua and everyone else could learn each others moves, etc., and give Tua the chance to throw it more than 10 yards.

The problem in trying to trade Howard is his present contract. The other team would have to pick up a lot of his present contract, AND....he will still want a new contract. He's up shit's creek. Let him sit and pay the fines.

Here's what I think may happen tonight. Miami makes their pick at 6, then again at 18. As the draft moves on, Grier sees a guy high on their list, still there, say around pick 25 or so. Miami trades their 2nd rounder and a later pick to move back into the first round to get their guy. Miami has enough ammunition to do something like this. Can't wait for the draft to start.

Sorry Sam, I agree with Treasure, and I said I supported Tanny the whole time he was a Fin. He is a good QB, both for Miami and Tenn. He broke a couple of records while in Miami. He just didn't have the help he needed. Look at him in Tenn; he has talent around him and he has led the Titans to the playoffs. Bottom line, I have nothing negative to say about Tanny. Now, as far as who would be av
