I wouldn't, but other people seem adamant about bringing him here. After researching him, I'm trying to figure out why. I'm not convinced.

I don't think either Bryant OR Marshall are viable alternatives, just check out their production for last year. Their measurables are mostly good(except for speed) but they aren't very PRODUCTIVE.

The whole thing is kind of odd, but maybe the Chiefs gave us a decent(for us) price for two guys that had considerable playing time last year. It could happen!

I'll probably regret this, but I'll try one more time. Consistency isn't one of your characteristics. Technically, what you have described now is a scrambler. Neither Marino nor Namath can remotely be considered one of those. A guy that can "make all the throws" is the guy that can drop back, set up, and throw the ball anywhere on the field against coverage. Having the ability to throw

I don't think his head will ever let him be a "superstar', regardless of who he plays with. As for being one of "one of the FEW guys who can make "every throw" on an NFL field", there are AT LEAST a dozen guys, possibly as many as two dozen, in the league right now who can make all the throws.

Linebacker- both a run-stopping ILB and a speedy ILB to cover tight ends and backs, and another pass-rushing OLB. We've got some talent in the secondary-both corners and both safety positions. We need talent in too many other positions to take a FS early.

Are you his PR guy? You should be. It appears your mind is made up. I have expressed my opinion, you have expressed yours. On this subject, we disagree. On with the show.

What he said. If you want to ignore his obvious weaknesses, that's up to you. The rest of us know the truth.

Did you ever actually see him play, or are you looking at a "highlight" reel? Its not likely that they would put embarrassing footage in there, is it? I could hardly believe some of the "ole!" shi...stuff I saw him do. Whole stadiums full of people were embarrassed for him, but he was oblivious. That was his brand of courage. Pathetic.

I tend to agree with you, except for one point: If Garo doesn't screw that play up, the Redskins don't come close to scoring. The No-Names just obliterated the Redskins offense.

I'm not sure I even agree about Sanders being the most popular of all time. He's definitely the best known, because of his ridiculous and outrageous comments on NFLNetwork, as well as his flashy wardrobe. As for being the best DB of all time, no way. Mike Haynes was better. Mel Blount was better. Paul Krause was better. Dick "Night Train" Lane was better. Willie Wood was better. Herb A

Agree, its LBs. Maybe not both ILBs or OLBs, I think they still like Folsom, and will get somebody to compete with him. Maybe a NT and/or WR in the later rounds.

Still, not a bad payday. Just not what he would get on the open market. I'd love to get him, I just don't see it happening.

You have skewered your own argument here. The games you mentioned were won by two passing teams over a running team that had controlled the clock to an extreme degree. Controlling the clock is what a run-first offense is designed to do. This highlights that a quick strike offense will defeat a running team if the running team doesn't have a sufficiently proficient defense in order to prevent the

I disagree with you. First, the basis of your thesis is that we need a GREAT RB. This has not been true for some years, and it won't be true again this year. In today's NFL, the primary offensive weapon is a passing offense. Three of the remaining teams on championship weekend were passing teams, and the one running team used several backs and did not rely on one great RB. As we saw, a good runni

Kindle does seem to be a one-trick pony, from what I've seen. We've already got one of those in Cameron Wake. Graham looks to be a more rounded player. However, I've really only seen these guys on recent videos, the ones I take with a grain-or a ton- of salt.

I'm not trying to make fun of anybody. I can read the articles he's quoting, so I'm not so much interested in what these published reports say (I have, or will, read them), I'm interested in what he - and you, and anybody - have to say about them.
