These are the same geniuses that designed and executed our 5 year rebuild that fell short of expectations. Meanwhile, perennial bottom feeders like Houston and Detroit leapfrog us into the play-offs and make a splash. I don't have much hope.

McD should give up play-calling, he's just not very good at it. The team needs an HC, not two OCs. Too often, the plays were late coming in from the side-lines during last season, confusion on the side-lines had a lot to do with that.

My original observation was that Kansa City, which was ranked #31 in this survey had a lot less injuries and went on to win the SB. All this pampering just doesn't feel right. After a day of vacationing at the training facilities it's off to South Beach to unwind. Fangio had a problem with the "country club" atmosphere and took a lot of heat for it. Prove me wrong but, I don't think

Dolphins training facility voted #1 by NFLPA survey. By Dave Hyde of the Sun Sentinel. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The hot tub fits 15 players. Each player’s weight workout is individualized and scheduled into their day for best results. Fresh-cooked and boxed omelets await players arriving at the last minute to take into team meetings each morning. They fly a chartered, double-decker

I don't understand what the beef is with the media. I was well aware that the shooters were not minors and were not white, I got my information from the "Media". As far as sweeping the story under the rug, what more are they supposed to do? Live coverage of the arraignment? Fact is that mass shootings are so common in this country they only get a brief mention on the evening news. You

We're 53 million OVER THE CAP. X getting cut is a no brainer but, he will need to be replaced. Wilkins wants to get paid, AVG and Tua want to get paid. Grier will be able to kick the can down the road for one more year and then the wheels fall off. Tyreek will retire and Waddle will want to get paid. As Tyreek has said, "There are no more excuses for Miami." I wonder if he wishes he had

I enjoyed it and even won some money in the quarter-by-quarter pool. In the big picture, the Patriots dynasty is over, nobody talks about Brady anymore and, Billy-cheat can't get a job. A new dynasty is in the making while the Dolphins are treading water. Bring on the draft.

Considering that Fangio had the defense rated in the top 5, there's plenty of room for improvement.

I read an article that Fangio was going to try and get the Eagles to sign some of Miami's free agent that he considers hard workers and dedicated and, Van Ginckel was at the top of the list along with one of the safeties. No mention of Wilkins so, maybe he was one of the goof-offs.

He had Miami's defense rated #4 by game 17, he will be missed when Miami regresses next season.

If the reports that were leaked to the media are accurate, that Fangio thinks certain players on the Dolphins defense lack discipline and commitment then, a young DC is going to have a difficult time getting their attention and McDaniels is going to have to get involved. Fangio had the defense rated in the top 5 towards the end of the season. There's no denying that he's one of the great defensiv

NE had a pretty simple formula, when somebody wanted to get paid, they were traded, in many cases for a 1st round pick and then some. Ty Law, Randy Moss, Lawyer Malloy, it didn't matter, they were gone. When Xavien Howard had his 10 Int season, we should have traded him to a team that thought they were just an elite corner away. Somebody would have traded for a couple of first round picks. That'

TS clearly doesn't like the attention at football games every time the Chefs score. Sometime celebrities like their space when not performing. I think it's kind of cool that she would make time for the mothers of Kelcy and Mahomes and other family members in the stands. She seems to be a genuinely good role model with no tattoos, piercings, risqué lyrics or, scandals.

I don't get all the hate for TS. I'm not a Swiftie nor would I recognize any of her music if it came up on the radio but, I see nothing nefarious about her showing up to games. After all, we had Gloria Esteban and the Williams sisters. I like the Chefs because of Andy Reed, he's a class act.

That's just like some of the bone-headed plays that McD called during the season. I think that inexperienced Head coaches get reckless sometimes because they think that the Gods are on their side when the truth is that the Gods are fans of soccer and couldn't care less about any other sports.

That's what we were told about Flores also after the fact. Bottom line, in the middle of the season the D was rated top 10 and then top 5 so, why were some players indifferent about him leaving? Was he a disciplinarian? Was he hardnosed or, did he not go along with the "Country Club" culture at practice? Personally, I didn't get the impression that he was too thrilled to come to Miami

I haven't watched "Hard Knocks" but, some who have seen the last episode say that Tua is way out of shape, as in too many happy meals. Polynesian people often do balloon out when they reach adulthood as a result of a western diet in conflict with generations of established genetic make-up. Tua needs to keep a close watch on what he eats or it will slow him down more than it already ha

That was my read also. Fangio is an old school professional who has earned high marks for being one of the best at what he does. I'm sure he resented working under someone that he considered "footballwise" on par with a cheerleader. Evidently, the insane amount of money that he was making was not enough to make him stay.

I just read an interview with an insider that said that Fangio wanted out because the Dolphins are a dumpster fire and that McD has no control over the locker room. Take it with a grain of salt but, where there's smoke there's fire. Lots of finger pointing about the collapse at the end of the season.

Actually, my choice on the poll above was "We're stuck with him so, let's make the best of it." I'm curious, do you consider 50 MILLION a year "not overpaid"? You're ok with paying Tua 50 mil and letting Wilkins walk because we can't afford him? I'm not saying to dump Tua, I'm saying get him some serious competition, something that has never been tried before. This

The Titans game is a textbook example of the gameplan falling apart because the players were having "too much fun" with their cringeworthy endzone celebrations. Hopefully McD reins that nonsense in a bit going forward. We didn't see it in the Dallas game but, that was because we were settling for field goals.

Most of the time Wilkins is drawing double coverage. Football is a game involving balance, 11 players against 11 players. If you are drawing double coverage then you are doing your job very well, it opens up a lane for somebody else to get to the QB. If you can draw triple coverage, then you are killing it even if you never get close to the QB. If Wilkins walks then you will have to replace him w

Herbert and the Chargers were in the wildcard round last season and got beat by Jacksonville. To answer your question, a sensible GM would exercise Tua's 5th year option. If we make it to the play-offs next year then pay him.
