What do you guys think about breaking the bank this off season and getting Cousins, who will be a FA? Obviously some serious cap gymnastics would have to occur and many players would have to be moved and restructured.

....surprisingly impressed with our receiving core? Especially Landry, Parker, and Stills?
That over the head snatch away Parker had was a thing of beauty.

Jay "GOAT" Cutler looked good, but let's not appoint him the savior just yet. Was I encouraged by how he played? Yes. He kept the ball moving and most importantly didn't turn it over. But we need to see how he does against top tier teams.

Hey Chryen. I've had this guy on ignore for years. Anytime u disagree with him it will delve into name calling.
On to the OP subject, I think the guy is a B- tackle when compared to the rest of the league. Has his play warranted 8mill? No. But the big question is has he reached his ceiling yet? Gase seems to have a good grasp on talent so I'll defer to him and the rest of the staff until they

The move to Las Vegas was almost unanimously approved by the owners, with the only nay vote coming from Stephen Ross. Does anyone have any info as to why Ross was the only dissenting vote in this issue?

Its taking some getting used to. You know, having a winning season and a coach that doesn't try to build a team thru free agency. I'm pleased with just about every move Gase and company have made since coming to Miami. As for contracts that seem too high, just remember the cap has gone up over recent years. 5 million is the new 3 million, etc etc.

Sorry but this team is heading in the right direction. Way better than last year and the environment is completely different. If you're ashamed or whatever, I think you're overreacting.

Matt Moore has been named the starter for the Wildcard game vs the Steelers. Since Moore took the helm, he has the 3rd highest QBR in the NFL among eligible QBs.

No, I don't know who it's going to be, but I do know who it won't be. Miami is not on the list of teams in the running to be covered by the show. Interestingly enough, the Bucs are one of 8 teams still in the mix.

Especially since our D is so banged up. If he was one of only a few injured I'd maybe be of a different opinion, but we aren't anywhere near 100 percent.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
I'd say it's a risk that's been established. His grade of injury has a 4-6 week recovery time. And that's to get back to practice, not game shape. It'll be too soon to bring RT in imo. I just don't see it as a very reasonable risk. Yes, anything can happen once u reach the playoffs, that's the fun part. But I'm not willing to risk our future for a hail Mary chance at a win.

Anyways.
Just listened to Colin Cowherd say that he picks the Steelers, giving away 10 points. His points were valid, but the Homer in me says a win is possible. It's going to be very cold most likely, and Moore will be taking his very first playoff snaps. Im setting up a set of dolphin prayer beads. Lol.

It's true. On espn his former players blasted him and the espn jerkoffs said that it was the nail in the coffin for his career.

I agree. Yes anything can happen in the playoffs, but to risk his career for a wildcard game i

God, every day thread u guys hijack and turn it into RT vs Moore. Here's a news flash: Gase will decide and none of us have a say. Also I think out of the plethora of posts, u guys have pretty much both beat that horse to the point it looks like hamburger meat.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
No offense, but listening to u guys argue about who is better Moore or RT is getting old. Neither of us will change the others mind, and thankfully, neither of you will decide who starts. So let's just drop it and say that you both have your opinion and they differ and that's that. Cool?
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
I think we have. Gase has changed the team dynamic. Profootball talk from NBC has us as #7 ranked out of the playoff teams and says that this time next year, Miami could be sitting in the #1 seed. So the pundits seem to think we are on the right track, and usually you are hard pressed to see the media say nice things about us.

No. Players from both NY and buffalo have said the biggest issue with him was lack of discipline. I don't want any coach on our

Oh and just to weigh in on something I was reading in another thread. RT is the phins qb. Moore has played well and done his job, but RT is leaps and bounds better of a passer than moore. I've watched RT March down the field and win games late this year. Moore had ajayi handle the load it seems. Either way, what a win!!!

What is everyone's expectations now that we are post season bound? Are we happy to just get there, or do we have to win a game or two to be considered a success?
