Doughty did not have a pick 6. HE did get sacked and fumble. IF that had been Tannehill a certain someone would be screaming how it was the OL's fault. Tannhill completed 80% of his passes last year in the preseason so I wouldn't go naming him the savior again so fast.

Doughty has not thrown any INT's in preseason. He completed 3 of 4 passes last game in very limited plays.

Gase also got a HUGE pay check. Not like he is coaching for free for the Dolphins.

I've been away for a while, but it seems some now view Tannehill differently then the savior he was once viewed as. Reality is setting in. Treasure still sees the savior. I would be 10o% ok with Doughty starting, it would not be too big for him. I've watched all his games the last 2 years at WKU so I know what he can do. His maturity level is off the charts too. When we first drafted

One can made a decision and still not get sacked. One just has to make it faster.

I agree it was likely the scouts, but you would be foolish to think they didn't ask a HOF QB what he thought about the guy. You would be equally foolish to think they would draft a guy if Marino stated he didn't like him at all. I know for a fact that Doughty and Marino spent time together during Doughtys workout with the Dolphins, a large part of time.

Doughty is a film junkie, one NFL team asked him to discuss a play they drew up. He went over every route and every possibility, when he was finished they were like, this is the first time we don't have any questions to ask. He can zip the ball when needed. I'm really excited to see what he can do.
