Eli is still good, he's a victim of the Giants poor coaching..Giants are a lot like the Dolphins right now. No coaching, no offensive line, poor player selections, the front office in disarray, fans are really mad. One difference is the Giants fans aren't used to this level of ineptitude like the Dolphins fans are. They are still in denial. Over here..i think it's becoming like expected that t

It's time to talk about how many seasons it would take optimistically to return this franchise to respectability. On the bright side, the Rams turned it around fairly fast. On the cloudy side, it's true we aren't going anywhere with this atrocious leadership in place.

It might not be Greer's player selection skills.
It's more likely a failure to identify and ability to hire or retain quality coaches.
When Bowles left us for New York, a big chunk of staff left with him
They've been doing pretty good over there with a horrible roster.
On the converse- look at Vance Joseph (from the Dolphins football tree), he went over to Denver and pretty much demolished a

As the mad dog would say, "the stench of cow manure hung heavily over this game." I wonder to myself, are they tanking this season intentionally, or are they really this bad?

haha JC, i kinda dig it! I move for all us cracka's to recreate this look next season. Darker brothers are welcome to join, or create something--we need anything to give a jolt to this franchise. Look at the Hurricanes- they got the swagger back, why not us?

true Hooligan, but you can compare Ajayi with his peers in this case. I saw Ajayi many times basically just standing on the field when his number wasn't called while his QB gets sacked. These guys esp..D. Williams, they at least throw their bodies in the action when the pressure is on. Ajayi is the epitome of a selfish player.

It's true, the Dolphins have never been the same since they moved from the Orange Bowl. What was it about that place? I'm on board to bring back the 70s!

I love that kind of stats SCP. That shows that he is severely overrated. I do that kind of analysis for baseball players--some are cluster hitters and their total stats look much better than their day-to-day performance. These are the type of players that successful GMs dump.

I'm just as down on this franchise as you Fins72-
but I'm going to defend it a little.
The injury bug has bit this team really hard this season, with our starting QB going down- the season went down the tubes right then and there.
I actually like Drake/Williams a lot, i saw a big improvement over Ajayi. Ajayi had no hands, and hated to block...the Drake/Williams combo looked like they ha

its the jest against the jills...
I have to admit i'm a bit impressed by the jest ability to win some games this season. Their roster is a mess. What they do seem to have is great coaching. Witness them play tonight, coaching makes a big difference. Chryn is right, we should never have let Todd Bowles go.

Ajayi was a 5th rounder himself...this 2018 draft is supposed to be deep in running backs. I'm good with the move.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
meh Ajayi, wasn't all that good... he'd always wimp out of the blocks, had lousy hands and he didn't have much "cut and run" ability. I won't miss him but part of the real reason for his failure is the aqua colored elephant in the room. It's still there. The offensive, Offensive line.

did anyone watch that Seahawks/Texans game yesterday? The Texans got lucky with that Watson QB-he's amazing. Garrapolo got traded to the 49ers tonight, I guess BB thinks Brady has another couple of years in him.

I agree in part
In a best-case scenario, some of the guys we already have on the o line will do...but they will need a better line coach. How many times have we seen our playe

I don't think you can accurately gauge Moore by this game- but you can gauge the play of the lines which was high school level--maybe JV at best. Every time i saw a handoff to Ajayi-a Raven was tackling him BEFORE he even got the ball. Every time I saw Moore Drop back, there was a RAVEN chasing him right after the ball was hiked! This was one of the WORST NFL games i have ever seen. Its a do

i turned it off at halftime, the team is a mess--i dont know how they won 3 in a row...its a mystery.
There is no o-line play, absolutely none.
The defense didnt adjust/shiftt at all to that lopsided line look the Ravens were giving..wth are they doing? Even an amateur in madden knows to shift the lines. This team is clearly unprepared and I see no future with this ownership/management te

to Treasure: Acknowledged. Looking back at the first moment Kaepernick decided to do what he did...he completely blew it. I do however give him credit for listening to what he did wrong and then correcting it. The damage, however- it is done. This will be a point of contention between two viewpoints that won't be resolved by dialogue or anything.
I wish you could have seen what we, the p

hah- well my friend, Treasure, I really tried to present the other case too...The one in where these protesting players bring to light a legitimate concern and we should be nodding along with them and telling them ok we see you and thank you.
What I didn't add is the track record of how much the current President has come to despise the NFL. Maybe, just maybe his antics coincide with his his

I don't want to jinx anything but looks like the Squeelers are gonna defeat the Chips. Pop the champagne early this season undefeated fellas.
